All data is stored using React Native AsyncStorage, which saves information directly to your device’s local storage. This means:

- Data is protected by your device’s security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
- No cloud sync or backup to external servers
- Data persists only on the device where the app is installed
Third-Party Services
Caffeine Counter does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data, including:
- No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
- No advertising networks
- No crash reporting services that collect personal data
- No social media integrations
- No third-party tracking SDKs
Apple Services
The app uses Apple’s standard services:
- App Store: For distribution and in-app purchases (governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy)
- StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases (no personal data shared with us)
In-App Purchases
Caffeine Counter offers optional premium features through in-app purchases. These transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We:
- Do not receive your payment information
- Do not store credit card or billing details
- Only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed
- Cannot access your Apple ID or account information
Children’s Privacy
Caffeine Counter does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. The app is designed for general audiences tracking their caffeine consumption for health and wellness purposes.

Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Your data is protected by your device’s built-in security
- We cannot access your data remotely

Access Your Data
All your data is visible within the app. You can view your complete caffeine history and statistics at any time.
Delete Your Data
You can delete your data at any time by:
- Deleting individual entries within the app
- Uninstalling the app (removes all data)
- Using your device’s storage settings to clear app data
Data Portability
Your data exists only on your device. There is no account or cloud storage to export from.

Since we don’t collect any data, there is nothing to opt out of.

What Choices Do I Have?
Complete Control: You have full control over all data in Caffeine Counter because everything is stored locally on your device.
Delete Anytime: Remove any or all of your caffeine tracking data at any time directly within the app.
No Account Required: Use the app without creating an account or providing any personal information.
Notifications: You can enable or disable notifications through your device’s Settings app.
Premium Features: Upgrading to premium is entirely optional and does not change how your data is handled.
